eSOP

‘SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are specific written instructions with the purpose of ensuring that certain operations are carried out in a uniform way’ (ICH GCP). They form the supporting framework for the quality control system of any organization (pharmaceutical company, CRO, research institute, etc.) which has to prove that its operations fulfill quality criteria. The eSOP module enables standard operating procedures to be represented in electronic format, and a whole SOP’s life cycle to be managed via a specific workflow. Using eSOP lowers implementation and revision costs, speeding up the use cycle thanks to its web-based interface. eSOP also has tracking and versioning tools that allow each operating procedure to be tracked through the duration of its life, along with any variations and changes that it may have undergone. The online training module allows easier and faster SOP training for staff, and their progress can be tested via an online questionnaire.
